NetIQ eDirectory 9 Suite B

Hi All,

NetIQ eDirectory 9, Suite B mode enabled (TLS 1.2 only, TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256 or TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 ciphers).

Windows 7, Softerra 2015.2, when attempting to connect, Softerra responds "Cannot contact the LDAP Server". Other ldap clients are working ok and are able to connect without issue.

Hello,

Please, try to enable it via the registry on your client PC (like mentioned here) by adding the following keys to the registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.2\Client]
"DisabledByDefault"=dword:00000000
